Please forgive me, I am new here and have NO idea how to post or add links, etc. I recently purchased a coach purse on ebay and now have reason to believe it is fake. Can anyone tell me either way? It is item number 130098479084. I'm so bummed!

Hi, I saw this coach at a consigment store near my home. I am not a coach afficionado but i have to admit I love this one. It is used, but looks good. I looked its serial number up on the drilldown and it matches, but the print does not concide, I mean, like, the ladybugs are not over the same c's. Is that an indication of authenticity? Oh, and they sell the shoes too..:heart: What else could I look at in the bag to determine if its real? Also, is it too pricey for a used bag? ($179) Thank you, chicas.

can I ask why you think it's fake? From the pictures, it looks pretty good to me. the only "fishy" thing would be the plastic on the handles...but the lining/creed/details of the bag looks pretty good.

It was the plastic on the handles that I was concerned about, then I was told from someone online that it isn't real. Here is the info I was emailed:
"if you click around in her feedback and click the item #’s……you’ll find a few that even have a shot that reveals the inside w/ sig c lining……the Carly bag….like the one you bought…..the C’s are not symmetrical from the center…….just look on Coach.com at all the signature bag and see how perfectly all the c’s are lined up"
The person I talked to online was really nice and told me about this "purseforum" website. I just want some more opinions before take any steps about requesting a refund/reporting the seller. Thank you for your help!:confused1:

Also, the purse I received has a bright pink lining, not the light color pink that is pictured on the ebay listing. I took my own pictures but don't know how to post them.

If you have doubts, she offers 100% refund minus shipping. I would ship it back to her w/ signature confirmation and get your money back.

To get your pics from your computer to the forum the quickest way...click on the "go advanced" button from the quick reply box, at the top you will see the text selection/text size/ & color palette, beside that is a button w/ a paper clip on it, click on that, browse your computer for the pictures, and hit upload. It will attached your pictures to your post. hope this helps.
This isn't the only way, but I think this is the quickest way for you to get your pics on here.

I have to say the plastic on the handles would throw me and I probably wouldn't have bid on it. I don't know if that mean's it's fake or not - if it is a fake its a really good one. But, it could also be real. I know that isn't much help. What is the fabric on the inside? It looked flannel and that would be wrong. Also, does anyone know when they stopped sending the registration cards? The bag is from 2004 and has a registration card.

Hmmm...I can see that concern. The seller sold a Fendi Spy bag that is new for $480. That price alone almost guarantee's its a fake. Ladies, also check out this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130087002493
It's a Signature Stripe Optic bag. Did they ever make sig. stripe in the optic? I didn't think so. Oh - well either way I just figured out the sig stripe optic she sold is a fake because it has sig lining. Sig lining is never ever in a sig bag.

Crista, that would be enough to concern me. I still can't say whether your bag is a fake, but I'm seeing warning signals about the seller that cause me to not trust him/her.
