^^ The Cs are not centered on the outside of the bag and the lining inside should not be signature. The hangtag is def fake.

Ladies, can one of you explain this better? I'm not very good at explanations!

Also the stitching on the bag and the creed patch is incredibly sloppy, the creed has missing letters, the serial number is off-center - everything about the bag indicates very poor quality.

The C's should always be centered so both halves of the bag are exact mirror images of each other, and a bag with C's on the outside should NEVER have a C pattern on the inside. The bag is a really bad fake, sorry.

If your friend has received the bag tell her to contact the seller immediately and demand a full refund. EVERYTHING about that bag is wrong. And tell her to copy the entire listing to her computer in case the seller removes the photographs, and do it immediately. Save the photos seperately. And tell her to check here BEFORE bidding next time.

I'm not sure why the price tag is different, but Coach did make several Limited Edition suede bags in 2003, and they had the second line on the creed patch showing the number of that specific bag. The font used for the serial numbers is different from the two I'm familiar with, but the wording matches the type of materials in the bag although the other bags were made in Italy. So although it could be one of those Limited Editions, there are enough differences to make me hesitate. But it DOES appear in the drilldown and could be an earlier bag, one that was made in China instead of Italy. Maybe Coach thought Italian-made bags would be easier to sell as Limited Editions:

If I liked the bag enough I'd take a chance but I'd send it to Coach right away for verification.

Thank you Hyacinth. I think it's a bit pricey to take a chance on it.

Hi guys. Can someone please help?
I posted this before I bough i and someone said i looked authentic. I thought so too.
I got it in yesterday and it looks extremely faded. Not black. And the stitching on the back of the purse looks a little different. So I went to the outlet today and they have the same purse there. I noticed that on the back of the purse the stitching is only 2 lines across while mine looks like 3. And also the handle looks wider on the one at the oules and mine looks thinner... The style number on my creed is the same as the one in the outlets...I don't know. I felt embarrassed being there. I'm thinking of emailing the seller and letting him know I want a refund. I'm very upset that I paid almost 100 bucks for this!
Can anyone give me a second opinion?
I'd really appreciate it.

blover--this does look real to me. Heres the real one on Coach.com, you can compare it to: Coach - COACH SOHO SIGNATURE TOTE

If you think a bag is fake, but hard to tell, try looking at:
*The inside lining (fake if it's like a shiny nylon instead of cloth)
*The hang tags (many fake ones have these cheep metal ones, or leather ones that are printed off-center)
*Fake ones often have tissue or plastic wrapped around the bag handles.
Also what Hyacinth said about the C's above
*There shouldn't be any signs of loose threads on the hang tags or anywhere...especially if its new. (I see a lot of fakes with this)
Hope this helps:yes:
