I don't know hardly any enough to authenticate... but I've been told the brass tags are always a good giveaway to a fake?

No, some Coaches do have brass hangtags - all the old Sonoma bags did, and here's one on a Legacy Leather Flap:

Hi, the Legacy bags were produced in Khaki Ebony , the Ebony is a really dark brown, dark enough to wear with Black, I have the Sig one in the Shoulder bag in that combo, purchased at the Coach Store. Looks black from a distance !!
The brass hang tag on the Brown "Ali" in question looks like an old one, it's scratched up, also haven't seen the Ali in that color or with the whipstiched trim on the flap.

The drlldown shows it, but in the one on the website, the C's are smaller than in the one on eBay. Risk it or no?

Hi, the fabric looks slanted to me, maybe it's my eyes or the odd angle... Ask her where she got it from, I don't believe Coach is sold in England. (In retail stores)

The current resort line does. I dont know for sure if it is authentic, but I think it is. Will be interesting to see. I sent a message to the seller asking for the serial #

the auction says it has that stripe lining...so that would eliminate teh resort line, right?

Yeah it would be a legacy bag from this year if it is real.
