It's really hard to say, the inside is showing wear around the zipper pocket so I'd expect the outside to show some too. The best thing to do with older bags is to avoid auctions that don't have good clear photos of common wear areas or the creed stamp. Look for excessive wear around the bottom corners, ends of the strap and inside. Some bags will even have had extra holes put in the straps because the "shoulder bags" of 10 or 15 years ago had a much longer drop than today's bags and sometimes the owners would do a really amatuer job of adding extra holes - I've even seen a few auctions where someone had actually cut the end of the strap off!
And there were fakes back then too, so again, ask here first before bidding.
Buying older bags means looking for different things but it doesn't have to be nerve-wracking as long as you deal with someone who shows good clear pictures, and ask here before you bid since there are a few sellers of pre-owned bags who should be avoided at all costs.
