Thanks Hyacinth and starrymaz for your advice, I asked the seller for pictures of the creed and she did send, along with other items that she has not listed in her ebay shop yet. I'm hesitant but will wait for more pictures of the wallet as I would like one to match the pink floral bag I went with in the second link of the four I originally posted.

The creed on the first tote looks OK. That seller buys much of her inventory from other Ebay sellers, so in those cases you have to be a bit more careful about authenticity. I think she's made a few bad purchases in the past.

I'm pretty certain the wallet is genuine, but I'd still advise paying with a credit card in case you find that it isn't. It's almost impossible to be 100 percent sure any wallet is genuine, but I'm not seeing any problems so far in the seller's other listings.

Unfortunately it looks as if several inexperienced buyers are engaged in a bidding war, which is really foolish with four days still to go in the auction. I have a feeling that the price will get pretty high, but I wish you luck.

I've never really been sure if they did or not. The few bags with the Mexico creeds always looked like they weren't up to Coach's usual standards, but if the third digit in the serial number is N, it's possible that a few were actually made there. But looking at the stitching, I can understand why they may have only made them there for a short time. They were already moving their production to China so maybe the Mexico deal was just a short-term thing. I'm not absolutely sure that your Daypack is genuine, but it seems to be.

The Costa Rican plants were open for quite a bit longer, maybe five or six years. There's even a tiny chance that a few bags and accessories were made in Thailand, but both Coach and Coach experts say no. See why trying to learn about Coach can be so frustrating sometimes?

funny to see that even the experts have such a hard time with coach details. i appreciate you help and enjoy learning from wonderful people such as yourself!

Hello,
Does anyone know if the bleecker wallet 40892 that doesnt have the checkbook ever come in silver or not. It seems like I seen one some time ago but cant find it anymore. Looked at coach site dillards nordstrom etc. No platinum. Am I going crazy. I could have swore I seen it before. I even checked ebay no luck. Ive seen it in saddle wine and teal. But Im looking for the platinium leather front and inside.

Hi guys,

I bought this wallet for my husband and after getting it in the mail I have a strong feeling that it might be fake. I was hoping to get your opinion on it before I email the seller. The reasons I am questioning it is because the leather feels really thin and brittle and the leather is actually cracking by the corner of the credit card slot. When it is closed the top edge of the wallet is wavy.

Thanks for your help!

It came with Gold leather trim but that's the only metallic color I could find:

Contact the seller and insist on a full refund - he's selling fake wallets. If the seller refuses to refund your money, file a SNAD (Significantly Not As Described) claim with Paypal immediately.

Coach leather should NEVER crack, I have wallets that are fifteen years old and the leather isn't showing any cracking. That style is widely faked on Ebay especially around Christmas and Fathers Day. There are at least two things wrong - the Coach stamp on the front is much too deep into the leather, and the price is much too low. The seller also has multples of the same item which is always a danger sign. You'll notice how the seller doesn't show the inside? That's because it's usually wrong on the fakes. Either it's missing two of the credit card slots, or ot doesn't have the removable ID case, or both. That wallet is supposed to look exactly like this:

Please post here when you contact the seller, and let me know how the one you received compares to the one in the Coach photo. And PLEASE, never buy a wallet or bag on Ebay without checking here first.

Good pictures, Cenise, thanks!

It looks like the alignment along the center seam in the first photo is a bit off, but some of our Signature experts really need to take a look. I've seen bags at the Factory stores with more messed-up seams than that and it seems to be a common problem on bags with rounded bottoms - it's probably harder to align the pattern. The rest of it looks ok to me but I'm not at all familiar with that style bag.

That is what I thought I knew that leather couldn't be real. The inside has a two part money Part? I don't know how to describe it. The farthest flap inside only has the leather folded down it does not continue down to the bottom of the wallet, if that makes any sense plus it doesn't have the Id case and I am emailing the seller right now! Thank you I will keep you informed.

I received an answer from the seller:

[FONT=arial,sans-serif]You have no idea what your talking about, and have no ground to make such slanderous statements. I obtained these from a reputable dealer. I obtain good prices by buying several at one time. I pass these savings onto my buyers.
These came with the appropriate docs, which I also pass along with the item. The same docs that I identified in the photo in the auction.
If you are not happy with the product, it can be returned, assuming it is in the same condition as it was received by you, but I will only refund the cost of the item, not the shipping costs.
I hope that clarifies where I stand on what I sell.
Thank You

I can't return it because it cracked and I am not sure what to do.
