While the bag in the pictures looks good, this seller has sold 3 of this same bag in this style and color already, using the same pictures on all the auctions. I would ask for a picture of the creed for the bag in this auction and also ask for a picture of the price tag.
thanks hyacinth! i did look at the feedback and it seems they were mostly shipping problems. i communicated with the seller and apparently he/she has just returned from hospital. i don't know if that's true, but there were heaps of apologies and an offer to refund if i prefer. do you think the bag looks authentic though?

I think the bag is authentic, I haven't seen those faked yet. I'm glad to hear your seller didn't just vanish and leave their buyers hanging though.
And no, pouches aren't my thing, just way too small for me. It seems like the older you get, the more you have to carry.
I have seen a few Signature Gigis that look fake to me.. Can anyone confirm this one as a fake or am I crazy.
the pockets looks weird to me.. the turnlocks look off to me... and the creed looks like it's stitched weird.

thanks for your reply! after going through the tips here, i could spot one worry: the bandana pouch does not have a metal rivet on its leather hangtag. however, i've searched pictures of this bag on ebay and have yet to see one that actually has the metal rivet. i wonder if this is the norm because this is not one of the usual pouches?
another worry is, the blue leather pouch seller actually had 5 of these in her possession. is that enough cause for suspicion? why would anyone have 5 of the same thing?

I have the Bandana pouch and mine doesn't have a metal grommet on the hangtag. None of the Bandana pouches I've seen have it, so that's fine.
The seller of the blue pouch may have bought a bunch from the outlet and is reselling them now. As I said, when you receive it, post pics here and we'll take a look.
No, you're not crazy, you're batting 1.000 in fact. There are a lot of smaller details wrong with it too.
The seller already had another Gigi, or maybe even the same one, removed by Ebay along with a Carly. Can someone take a look at the other bag she has listed?

You're right. This is definitely fake. The details you mentioned (creed, turnlocks, stitching) all look wrong.
Whew, OK. I have been on the look out for a gigi and I have seen a few like this one. I reported it and I hope it gets pulled because bidding is up to $350!

Yeah, it's scary. I would not buy anything from this seller. If you check her feedback, you'll see that she's already sold several fake designer bags and the auctions were pulled.

I just have to chime in Hyacinth... I laughed "out loud" when I read this ..YES!!! the older we get the more we carry (WHY?) and the reason we LOVE the older Vintage Styles.... And we thought when we had babies we carried a lot! LOL!
I am trying to FORCE myself to down size to something like style #11127... to no avail!!! I'm loosing the battle

And the wallet situation is even worse - every grocery store has some sort of Preferred card, then add in your credit cards, Drivers License, motor club, half a dozen different auto and health insurance cards, employee ID, cards from the airlines you fly, the hotels you stay at and the cars you rent, and even a dozen credit card slots aren't enough. And then to make matters worse, both my hotel Rewards card and AARP replaced my nice thin flexible plastic or paper cards with thick credit card-type cards this month.

Now here is an IDEA??? On the TV show called.."THERE HAS TO BE A BETTER IDEA"..... How about submitting a COACH line for OVER 50 or AARP MEMBERS ONLY....!!!????? I know there has to be a market for us aging baby boomers........
