It looks like a dirty silver Scribble to me

The seller obviously copied and pasted the wrong item description. It's been known to happen.
I wouldn't bid on that one without more photos though.

The first and second ones look genuine but the Scribble looks pretty grungy in spots.

i'm glad i found this forum! never knew such a treasure trove of experts resided here. :)

so... i'm new on ebay and recently got hooked on the coach top handle pouches. i bought up heaps, after reading that fake goods are not allowed on ebay. so, i merely avoided sellers who didn't state their goods are authentic, and when questioned, refused to answer directly. but after reading this thread, i realised that "authentic" can still mean fake!

most of my bags are already in the mail, but i'm really curious now as to how many fakes i've bought:

They all look authentic to me. The experts will know for sure.

Maybe you could just use it as a pen case, or give it to one of the little girls in the family to use when she plays "dress-up" but if it's fake it can't be sold anywhere.

I will just toss it. I had no intention of selling if it wasn't real which I said in my original post.

thanks for your reply! after going through the tips here, i could spot one worry: the bandana pouch does not have a metal rivet on its leather hangtag. however, i've searched pictures of this bag on ebay and have yet to see one that actually has the metal rivet. i wonder if this is the norm because this is not one of the usual pouches?

another worry is, the blue leather pouch seller actually had 5 of these in her possession. is that enough cause for suspicion? why would anyone have 5 of the same thing?

I'm not familiar with 1,3 and 5.
The second one is ok
The seller of the 4th one has some of the WORST feedback I've ever seen. You HAVE to look at a seller's feedback and selling record, not just their listings. I wouldn't buy a newspaper from #4 - read it for yourself. I hope you get your bag.

Please, PLEASE, before you bid on anything else, come here first and ask for advice. Don't be in a rush to grab something you like - believe me, if you miss one bag, another will show up in its place within a week or two. Don't be pressured into bidding on anything at the last minute, that's how people get stuck with fakes - and bad sellers.

thanks hyacinth! i did look at the feedback and it seems they were mostly shipping problems. i communicated with the seller and apparently he/she has just returned from hospital. i don't know if that's true, but there were heaps of apologies and an offer to refund if i prefer. do you think the bag looks authentic though?

does anyone know anything about 1, 3 and 5? it seems there are very few pouch fans around. :confused1:
