Authenticate This Coach

If you post a link to the auction where you bought it someone here can tell you if it's real or not. But if the strap isn't real leather, that's not a good sign. What's the serial number at the bottom of the leather creed patch inside the bag?

I bought it at an estate sale. The strap is actually a woven fabric with the texture of elastic but not the stretch. The word Coach woven into it. It is exactly like the Legacy Signature Shoulder Strap bag http://www.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=9986&category_id=788 except: it is brown print with brown trim, the lining is pale gold, and the tag is brass, not leather. It doesn't seem Coach sells a brown print with brown trim, but it's possible the bag is an older model.

The serial # is A2J-6094. Is there some way I can authenticate through that number?

thank you so much... yeah I would really like to have one of these and I love it in black. the only thing is that most of the palces that sell them (Macys, and the outlet stores around here) only have the in the khaki color and I think that would get dirty pretty quick so I like the darker ones...

A long shot given its ending soon but is this authentic?

I wasn't going to bid on it but if it is real and I can get it at a bargain price then well I can't resist (this is how the obsession starts doesn't it!).

Sorry for the double post but it wouldn't let me edit my original post. So I ended up going for this given the possible bargain price of 8.00 GPB (about $14) including shipping. I checked the reference threads and the mirroring etc and I do think it might be the real deal. However i've not paid yet as i'm looking to get a second opinion.
