I've never seen the wallets IRL, just the bags. So it's possible they just stamped that center line rather than using more than 1 piece for the fronts of the wallets, it sounds like something Coach would do.

The other details in the original pics match the catalog pics, so I'll say genuine.

Thanks whateve, BB and Hyacinth. I agree with your assessments of this wallets' details, The line is there but appears worn from age and use resulting in less definition than the other examples you provided. I appreciate the time and effort you all put into checking this out for me. Until next time...:peace:

Can someone verify this purse for me please? It is cream & light blue, with an all blue fabric interior. The plaque inside seems to be worded correctly but I am unsure if the number? It is A06S-1879. It measures 6.5" high X 12" wide X 4" deep, with the strap drop measuring 9.5".

(There is a small ink spot boo-boo on the creed plaque but I don't know how to get it out :( )

Also, the name please, if it is known :smile1:

Thank you in advance!

This one too, if you don't mind ;) It is not as shiny as a picture with the flash makes it look, so I took them without. The interior is really cute plaid & the plaque inside seems to be worded correctly but I am unsure of the number because someone told me that Coach NEVER ends their numbers with a "5"? It is F0882-12595. It measures 7.5" high X 13" wide X 3" deep, with the strap drop measuring 22".

Also, the name please, if it is known ;)

Sorry, did you post pictures? I'm not seeing any.

A"correctly worded plaque" doesn't prove anything about authenticity, although an INcorrectly worded one is a major red flag.

And whoever told you that Coach never ends their numbers in a 5 (or ANY other number!), and that's what they actually said, is full of donkey dung and you should NEVER EVER listen to any of their advice or opinions on Coach products ever again. EVER.

Thank you for the clarification on the ending in "5" question & also, I have tried adding the pictures but I have received this error message:

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. Check this thread for information on how to resolve this on your end.

If you continue having issues, please inform the tPF admin and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I love these old olive green leather bags (still not sure what this color was called - sage?) from the 90's. This one looks and feels just like my other ones, but the stitching is truly whack. The line of stitching running under the dowel - look how much the stitch length changes (gets really narrow under the handle and then widens out again). Also, on the back, the trim of the pocket edge is wider on the left than it is on the right. Is there any way this could be an authentic bag? It sure looks and feels like one otherwise. Thanks!
