That's a starting bid of $40. Clearly, the seller was unhappy with the selling price, something SHE as seller had set. She should have been ethical and honored the selling price.

Personally, I wouldn't buy from greatstuffbylisa because I wouldn't want the disappointment of having my winning bid price refused.

ETA: This time, in addition to raising the price, she disclosed that it's missing the lozenge hangtag.

Hello All! I would appreciate an opinion on authenticity of this all leather Coach New York trifold wallet please. It looks good to me but appears to be pretty old and without the usual details I'm used to seeing in a Coach wallet so help, including possible age, is appreciated. Thanks!

I don't have this one in my files but I don't see any problems. It appears to be part of the Tribeca collection from around 1998. More opinions are welcome.

ETA: I have reservations as most Tribeca pieces have pieced tops, not just stitching.

ETA2: Is it pieced and I'm just not seeing it? Like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/VTG-Early-R...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Hi whateve. It looks just like the one in the link you provided in my opinion.

Hi whateve. It looks just like the one in the link you provided in my opinion.

I'm seeing - or not seeing - the same thing as Whateve. It doesn't look like the front of the wallet is made up of 3 pieces of leather. I don't see any division or break or slit or anything similar between the pairs of stitches, in the photos the front looks like one single piece of leather with double rows of stitching for contrast. Maybe a closer photo of the front at a different angle would help?

Coach's catalog photos show that tiny separation:

I blew up the picture (hope it shows what I'm hoping it does) and I'm not seeing seams either. Also, the horizontal stitching doesn't extend all the way to the vertical ones as it does on the Coach page.

Ok. Here are additional photos...hopefully I have captured the detail you are referring to. Thanks!

I think I see the detail you are referring to...my wallet has lines that appear to define separation in the leather but they don't appear to be as deep as those in the example provided by whateve.
Is it possible that the Tribeca wallets don't use separate pieces of leather?

Although this is a smaller wallet, it appears similar to ekhfashions's item with the "look" of a seam but without the real patchwork:

I noticed that as well. There is this one listed by a tpfer:

Maybe she'll look at hers and let us know.

Yes, the one I posted is from a TPF'er too. Neither looks like a seam; I looks like the heat impression as seen on wallet pockets and ID windows.
I realized it was a tpfer after I posted. She hasn't been around here in a very long time. It does look like just a heat impression, which could disappear over time.
