Hyacinth and BeenBurned...I live in El Paso and yes...these bags are seen all over the city and fakes are being sold at every weekend flea market week after week, not to mention the ones coming over the border on a daily basis as well.

But, I must add that there are many, many women here who'd never be caught dead with crap bags like that. We know our bags and proudly carry them. Once you know the 'real thing', the fakes are easy to spot.

True - and those fakes of hers are SO obvious! Talk about cheap and tacky - I can't believe anyone was gullible enough to buy any of them, no matter what price!

Flea markets must be the way to go now, since I'm sure crossing the bridge to shop is still a Very Bad Idea. My mom lived in the Las Cruces area for 30 years and she and her retired friends used to carpool to Juarez every few months to buy their meds and enjoy a day of bargain shopping, but of course they stopped doing that about 10 years ago.

I've lived here since the late 60's and have spend my fair share of time in Juarez...partying in the old days, fine dining later on and of course...shopping and entertaining out of town friends. Until...oh, the mid/late 90's early 2000's. It became dangerous and scary. My friends who still do go over frequently say it hasn't recovered nor is it the same.

Back to flea markets or even cars with an open trunk full of counterfeit goods...sadly, this is very common. Bootleg CD's, DVD's, purses, jewelry, you name it. Law enforcement/officials make cursory attempts with fining/enforcing but there are bigger things going on so these counterfeit sellers just keep on keeping on. ullhair:

Woo hoo! Thank you! It is style number 92949. The picture didn't match the one in my files exactly but then I found others with a slightly different arrangement to the arms.

It's fine. It's a dinky bag #9375. I think the seller doesn't have a very good camera; the creed probably looks clearer in real life. Coach's ad says it has a 45 inch strap so the drop should be long enough to wear crossbody, in fact the ad says "allows the bag to be worn diagonally across the body."

Hi there!! I am NOT an authenticator or coach expert by any means. However, that looks like a dinky bag. I have one just like it. The strap drop on mine is 22.5".

I purchased a coach bag on Ebay. The inside hanging pocket is closed by a brass zip and is sectioned into three slip pocket areas outside the zip. I am wondering if this is an authentic COACH because the width of the three slip pockets on my bag is different from all the other ones I've seen online.
