From GW…I have the same one with burgundy leather from a few years ago, though it was missing its hangtag.
Approx. 8.5"w x 5.75"h x 2.25"d. Strap 8" to rings.
2004 Special Edition Signature Small Hobo #7061 right?

Also, I've never seen Coach lining like that (being able to be turned inside out and not properly stitched in)

I've been comparing my own Coach that I bought from the store against it and it seemed rather fishy to me. Also, it has a weird, plasticky smell and feels sticky to the touch (like pleather).

Would love to understand more from all the experts here. Thanks!

The made in tag is correct. (I don't know whether you've seen Chinese-made ones; they say "CHINE" under China.

The lining is quite common.

This particular item is PVC coated fabric so that could be the smell and feel. PVC/plastics
are a petroleum based product and sometimes can have an odor. The smell will dissipate over time.

Keep in mind that when making comparisons, you need to compare apples to apples. Linings vary, materials vary, etc. If you don't have another wristlet, style 49522, the details aren't going to match.

Coach changes details like tags, creeds, hangtags, even clips, almost constantly. Like BeenBurned said and like I've said in the Salearea Guides, don't EVER expect one bag or accessory to have the same details or add-ons as a totally different item or style because they probably won't.

And one bag is no basis to be making any kind of comparison. That's one BIG reason why almost every single "authenticity guide" on the internet is mostly or completely wrong - DETAILS CHANGE, and different styles made at the same time have differences.
