Hello,

Could you authenticate this green Bleecker Flap? I've regretted not getting one in 2007.

It looks good. This is my favorite style!

ETA: It isn't vachetta leather and the color is closer to the darker pictures.

Hello,

I've purchased a briefcase that I'm going to rehab for a friend. It looks pretty good but would like to verify that it is indeed a New York City bag as I'm not sure if the Beekman design was around back then.

Thanks in advance!
It looks fine. It isn't a Beekman. It's a Metropolitan Brief Bag 5180. More opinions are welcome.

Oh no! I thought it was vachetta (which I love dearly). Still I remember the leather being luscious in the store, so I don't think I'll be disappointed. Is there any way that you know of to lighten up the color without damaging the leather? I was hoping that the color was more of a hunter green rather than a evergreen.

The leather has a polished or well-buffed appearance, really different from anything else I own. It sort of glows. It scratches very easily. I have no idea how to lighten the color safely. The dye took differently on the different types of leather so it isn't unusual for the strap to be a different color than the body of the bag.

Hello! Could I please get authentications on these two thriftees? I would much appreciate it!

Item: Prairie
Seller: Goodwill (in my possession)
Comments: L plant code ok? I vaguely remember reading it could be problematic for mid-90's bags...
