Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.
For further information, please refer to the first post on page 1 of this thread.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:
  • FOR ITEMS LISTED ONLINE:

  • FOR ITEMS NOT LISTED ONLINE:

    Where purchased or how obtained

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I DO NOT recommend chic market or chicmarket for many reasons. (And I'd never heard of them before your post.)

1. IMO, their use of an anonymous registration prevents us from looking that the admin, site ownership and location. Generally, that tells me they're hiding for a reason!

2. A site that requires signing up in order to look at their listings is NOT a company I will support. I don't want to give them any information unless and until I can confirm where they're located and whether they're honest.

3. They're use of Coach's and other companies' stock images violates those companies' intellectual property rights.

4. Without seeing pictures of the actual items they're selling, there's no way to determine whether they sell authentic items.

5. The prices and quantities of their items have me inferring that they sell fakes.

yup..I didn't want to give any info or sign up for anything either. I received an email from a friend of mine who received the of chic market site from somewhere..Anyway,there are tons of similar sites popping up when you google vintage coach. Just thought I would pass this NEW?--( I don't know if it is new site )on to you...I only deal with ebay bonz & etsy-and as you well know. those 3 sites have enough counterfeit crap to keep me busy reporting FOREVAH....:noggin:

1. Regarding the keychain, even if authentic, that's NOT a breast cancer ribbon so if authentic, I don't think it would be a BCA fob.

2. fanofthefind has had a few other fake keychains recently and as such, I don't recommend her:

3. I'm not comfortable with the current listing from fanofthefind. I've never seen it (not necessarily indicative of fake) but the quality doesn't look good.

ETA: Here is a post where I posted comparison pictures of a fake that fanofthefind should have recognized as such. At this point, I can't recommend the seller's listings.
