I was contacted by eBay and told that I will receive a PARTIAL refund after I confirm my email. Well, my eBay email is the same one that that they used to send me that email. I will press on. At least they recognize that the bag was FAKE. You should have seen the seller's documentation that the bag was authentic. Really pitiful.

Thank you all so much. You are quick to respond and really helped me to be successful in this effort.

Warm regards, California53

Why only a partial refund? If it's fake aren't you entitled to a full refund and buyer pays return shipping?

DO NOT SETTLE FOR A PARTIAL.

And if you have to pay for a professional authentication, tell ebay you want that to be reimbursed by the seller.

Did you possibly use a credit card to fund the payment?

What was the seller's documentation proving authenticity?

When you have a moment could you please authenticate? I think it is OK but you know more than me, TIA.

Bag in my possession, I took the pictures.

Item: Vintage Coach ??
Measurements about 1o x 7 x 3 inches.
Comments: Similar style to a Mulberry?

And if you have to pay for a professional authentication, tell ebay you want that to be reimbursed by the seller. The emails from eBay state "Do Not Reply" to the sending email address.

Did you possibly use a credit card to fund the payment? I used PayPal.

What was the seller's documentation proving authenticity? None, just a poorly-worded defense.

The most direct and efficient way of resolving problems on eBay is actually calling ebay's customer service number (866-540-3229). The customer service reps that I've spoken to have all been very helpful and understanding, just make sure that you have all the required info on eBay's server (as the rep will review all the info).

I agree. You should call ebay. Explain that the listing was removed. You want a complete refund. Remind them of the ebay's Money Back Guarantee that covers your purchase price plus original shipping. If they ask you to return the bag, make sure someone else pays for the postage.

Yes!

California53, is there any chance that you referred the seller to this thread and told her to look at my pictures showing comps?

Two totally different bags with the same creed # listed by two different sellers. I assume they both are fake as turnlocks on both look weird, and the leather seem to be of very poor quality. Oh, and as much as I could see from the picture of the creed under the bad angle on the briefcase it says "leather ware"? Anyway, creed #C6C - 8963.

Listing #1: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coach-Vinta...0504896hash=item3d141dd6c0:g:~iIAAOSwZQxW4wZm

Seller: natasha2503

Listing #2: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EUC-LN-Coac...785393?hash=item3ac034bef1:g:~FkAAOSwa-dWpVHx

Seller: secondchanceconsignment

Please confirm, and I'll post them to the Hall of Shame.

Both are fake and the number has come up in the past: http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...enticity-questions-94198-89.html#post28853794

It looks like C6C 8963 belongs on the fakes list!

Your first link didn't work so I fixed it.

Creed for #1 seller natasha2503 -- it says Leather Wars:

And regarding seller #2, secondchanceconsignment, I'm concerned with this one although there's no creed picture to validate my concern.

ETA: Here's a side by side comparison of natasha2503's fake C6C creed vs an authentic C6C:

ETA: Here's a side by side comparison of natasha2503's fake C6C creed vs an authentic C6C:

C6C-8963 is in Part 2 of Daria48's Fakes List at Ebay, looks like she added it last July:
http://www.ebay.com/gds/Fake-Coach-Serial-Numbers-Part-2-/10000000179041909/g.html

"C6C-8963 -

ALWAYS fake, and has been showing up in mostly all-leather fakes. This one has apparently been around for a long time but only recently came to the attention of one of our fellow Ebayers. The font and creed are completely wrong for any Coach made in March of 1996 as the serial number codes indicate, the bags always have other details wrong for the year or the style, and a few creed stamps even say "Leather WAR S" under the Coach logo at the top instead of "Leather Ware". Trust me - the people at Coach do know and understand correct American English spelling, punctuation, and basic grammar and formatting - ANY spelling or punctuation mistake in any Coach creed is a major red flag!

(added july2015)"

And YOU added it to the known fake numbers in the Authenticity Questions thread at almost the same time:
http://forum.purseblog.com/coach-sh...enticity-questions-94198-89.html#post28853436

That bag isn't Coach. It doesn't have a creed. The buckles aren't the right shape and the description says they have a brushed finish. Besides the horrible leather, the only style it is close is Patricia's Legacy but it has too many differences to have been made by Coach.

Hello all authenticators
I have a wallet here that I find questionable for the reason that it seems to match the 53680 in every way EXCEPT for the zipper pulls, this one has no wrist strap and 2 pulls??:thinkin:
the color I believe is Fuchsia and the size is about 8 X 4
do any of the pros recognize this wallet?
Thanks
RC
