The Coach tag picture is awfully blurry but I don't see any problems with the bag. Someone tried to get the seller to do a BIN at $25.

I don't see where to initiate a new question. I would like to have authentication for a "Coach" bag that I purchased on eBay. The name is Coach 12947 Op Art Madison Sabrina Satchel Handbag. I challenged the authentication and now the Seller has gotten eBay involved. This bag has all of the signs of a "fake" to me. eBay is required photos (fine) and a letter from the manufacturer or police? Really for a $42 fake Coach bag. Anywhoo, I am uploading photos for you to see. My observations are: incorrect lining, incorrect label, "C" pattern not lining up, etc. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Although 12947 is the legitimate style your bag is trying to copy, your bag is fake.

ETA: BTW - what do you mean about that you "challenged the authentication?" Who authenticated that POS and deemed it as genuine?!?!?!

Wait for the experts to post, as they are the ones that count, but even me (far from expert) can tell it is fake, so many wrong things with it... terrible!

I will put together several other side-by-side comparison pictures for you to submit to ebay clearly showing the differences between browncastleltd's fake and authentic 12947. Use the creed comps I posted above too.

Additionally, call ebay (and respond to the dispute also) with evidence that the listing for the fake bag was removed because it's counterfeit.

It always surprises me when sellers will risk their reputation by refusing to do the right thing by apologizing to the buyer and issuing a full refund.

Clearly, browncastleltd doesn't care much about her reputation.

(It might be a short while before I'm able to put together the pictures. I have an appointment to go to. But you can rest assured that it'll be done today - long before your April 3 deadline!)

Ebay removed the listing, the seller I imagine gets a message about it, so... I bet they are not so sure any more, trying to still fight it is dumb!

Do not give up, you are entitled to get your money back, even if they would side against you, you can call and ask for a supervisor to appeal the decision. Good luck!

Is this a new way to handle disputes? In the past I have requested a refund for item not as described, (being fake) and I never got emails, just the communication through the resolution center, I had to explain my points and send pictures as well.

I was contacted by eBay and told that I will receive a PARTIAL refund after I confirm my email. Well, my eBay email is the same one that that they used to send me that email. I will press on. At least they recognize that the bag was FAKE. You should have seen the seller's documentation that the bag was authentic. Really pitiful.

If you need a professional authentication, authenticate4u.com is recommended but I'm hoping that ebay (and the seller browncastleltd) will be smart enough to see the differences by looking at the pictures.

Because their email says they need documentation on a letterhead, you might need that professional document. And if you need me to send you the actual images, i.e., if ebay won't look at a photobucket link, send me a PM with your email and I'll forward them.

You have my permission to send ebay the links to my Photobucket comparison photos. The album is public and if you send them the direct link, they should be able to view them.
