Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

This is the response from the buyer:

New message from: jennstock1999 (40Yellow Star)
"I don't see any verification that the purse is authentic. I have compared the hangtag on two of my other Coach purses that I purchased from the Coach store and the one from you looks different."

I accepted the return as I will be out of town W/O internet. Ugh....

jennstock1999 needs to understand that there's NOTHING wrong with the bag and nothing wrong with the hangtags but even if the hangtag had a problem, authentication can't be based on a removable and/or interchangable accessory.

The bag jennstock1999 purchased is authentic.

I agree, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with that purse. Or with the hangtag either.

Too bad Ebay doesn't ban BUYERS for filing false accusations against sellers with NO proof whatsoever. Let's hope jennstock1999 makes it onto a shyte-load of Blocked Bidder lists.

AFAIK, style 92305 only comes in gold. This listing looks silver to me. I wonder if the picture is super blurry intentionally.

Opinions? (I know the answer and want to verify that I'm not seeing the color incorrectly.)

I was wondering that as well. The seller's other fobs look okay (and aren't blurry). I saw a similar fob like this in silver last week that I thought was fake. I can't remember exactly what was wrong with it besides the metal color.

Are all Musette's made in New York City? This one says made in the United States. Also I'm assuming if they did make these in the USA the made in New York City ones are rarer and more money. I paid $155 so I don't know if that's bad or not.

It's not a Musette. It appears authentic. I think it is a Carrier brief.
