Ebay doesn't always automatically side with the buyer. There was that thread in the ebay forum where the buyer had to provide an authentication to ebay to prove it was fake before they instructed her to destroy it.

I know exactly what it feels like. It has happened to me several times. I've always been able to convince the buyers they were wrong and they kept the bags.
Yup, I did read the ebay forum discussions.

Could someone please authenticate this Coach bag?
From GW…
Approx. 13"w x 7"h x 2.5"d. Strap 11" to bag.
And there's an open inside pocket inside, behind the zipper pocket…love pockets!
2007 Ergo Belted Flap #11263, yes? Burgundy or bordeaux? Definitely on the red side of brown.
Thanks in advance, as always!

It's authentic. I don't know the "official" color.

In the past I've found that if a buyer opens a not as described return and loses her claim, she loses her chance to return the bag.
Have you ever won a not as described case or fake cry? I've always caved eating the return shipping, but made sure the buyer was well aware that the bag was authentic. This time I'm putting my foot down. I'm tired of buyers dealing the fake card so I get dinged as well as having insult to injury paying the return shipping. Hope I'm not cutting off my nose to spite my face....

Yes. I won a not as described case when the buyer claimed the bag was too small. I had used the word "small" in the title, had it in the item specifics, and included the measurements in both the specifics and description, as well as stating "this is a very small bag" in the description. I called ebay and they closed the case in my favor while I was on the phone.

I've taken returns plenty of times from buyers just to prevent them opening a case, but once they open a case, I fight unless I think their claim has merit.

ETA: I also won a case from a buyer who claimed she got an empty box. I think I won this one on a technicality because she claimed INR rather than SNAD. Since tracking showed it was delivered, I won. I think it was a child who used her mother's account and didn't want her mother to find out.

Still have not heard anything from the buyer with several comments added to the case as well as eBay messages. Fingers crossed...

Please authenticate this NYC made bag. I'd also appreciate it if anyone could tell me what it is named (think I saw a post on one like it not too long ago but can't find it). It is 11 X7 X 3 inches and the strap is ~ 32 inches. It has one non-zipper inner pocket. TIA.
