I realize this listing has ended but after just having found a "close" fake patchwork bag from the seller, I'm curious about this one.

I'm not sure I've seen fakes with a correct Italian plant code and correct "made in Italy" text.

While I know that there can be more than one stamping machine per plant, the prefix

Coach Willis
Seller - nick7305
Item number - 231417214063
Link - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Coa...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

This is nick7305's creed:

And another listing with the same prefix but different spacing, font, letter shape, etc.

$_57.JPG

And this is another Sonoma with the same year and plant:

Is that willis authentic or fake?

Thanks.
I asked a long ago about that curved A. According to my files, I added an identical creed (same prefix and a Willis) to my files last April. At the time, Hyacinth said it was authentic. I have two other curved As in my files: one is a duffle sac for the same year (A7E 9085) and the other is a Sonoma for 1995 (A5E 4911). I don't see any problems with the Willis in this listing. There are none of the errors we normally see on a fake. I believe it is authentic.

The Willis is genuine. There were at least 5 different creed and serial combinations at the Italian plant just in the middle 90s (not even counting specialty creeds for the Bridles, Madisons and other lines) including both the newer and older versions of both the standard leather and Sonoma leather creeds and two slightly different serial stamps. It's not surprising that they'd have more than one serial stamp.

Thanks to both of you.

I tend to be suspicious when I find a seller with a fake (and a good one at that) who has other designer items.

Hi experts! I searched the item number for this one, and I didn't find it as already posted.
Item: Coach #DOJ-9469 Brown Calf Hair Cowhide Leather Trim Medium Satchel Handbag
Listing number: 301510601213
Seller: 1102runner58.9

Comments: Is this one too good to be true? Thank you so much for all y'all do in authenticating these pieces!
It's authentic.

BTW, it's D0J not DOJ - 0 = made in 2000

Although small, here's a stock picture of the bag:

A lot of older styles don't come up in searches. Not only is this one almost 15 years old, but most of the calf hair and hair-calf bags were considered Limited Editions and not many copies were made. It's a genuine West End Hair Calf Medium Hobo.

The first one seems ok. It's the smaller version.

The second is a Saddle Pouch (no "...ry"), probably the small or Standard version #9590 which measures 9x7. It was probably made in 1986 or 1987.

Found this at Value Village the other day. The hardware is heavy enough to knock someone out! Bargain that will need some touch up on the trim.
Please authenticate. Did the best I could with the creed. Very faint.
Coach bag.
I own

It's an authentic Carly bag. And yes, it does have very heavy hardware!
