Hi ladies! I came across this little beauty and wondered if you could provide some information on this bag, and whether or not it is authentic. I was told that it was purchased at Duty Free. The dimensions are 5 5/8 in wide x 4 5/8 in high x 2 in in depth. It looks like a mini Dinky. Here are the photos I took:

Thanks for any information!
It's fine. It's a Legacy Leather Mini Mini Crossbody 48005 from around 2012.

In the future can you put all pictures in one album so I don't have to open each link separately?

since you have mentioned parts_online_depot and said a key fob is questionable. I bought this one yesterday and I thought it was good but could you check it also since the others seem to be close and questionable. They have had quite a few coach key fobs lately and I know a lot sold yesterday.

Thank you

I'm not seeing any problems with that one or with any of the others. The green Multi Hangtag keychain is the only one that seems off to me, but maybe that one is correct too.

I've never seen a Hangtag keychain in all the same color, and green is a really odd color to make one in. The top link that attaches the chain to the keyring looks a bit too big too. In fact the keyring also looks too wide.

ETA -the font of the Coach logo looks like the older style but the letters don't look very sharp around the edges, and the serifs especially on the Cs is barely there. My gut feeling is Fake. The dustbag seems wonky too.

Here's a blowup of the hangtag charm, see what I mean about the serifs? DEFINITELY fake. Or if it IS real, it's the poorest made POS I've seen in a long time.

I don't feel comfortable about the hangtag keychain from parts_online_depot nor do I recommend them.

IMO, a seller who mixes authentic and fakes among his/her listings is (almost) more deceptive than a seller with a store full of fakes.

By mixing, a seller builds a sense of trust in buyers and those buyers might become a bit too trusting and be fooled by the seller's fakes. (Think debbieb208 and botticelli4grace as just 2 examples.)

I agree on this. We will see what I end up with. It hasn't been mailed out yet. I noticed the hangtag one says it was sold.

Item: Coach Black Checkbook
Seller: None(found it while helping a friend clear out a house).
Comments: I am weary of this because of the lining. The stitching also looks a bit crude. The checkbook is removable.

Thank you in advance!

That's because they're BOTh fake. A few *4N- prefixes may have been used in genuine bags, many of them especially starting with G are fake. And neither of those styles match the authentic style 9944 which was a Taylor Zip like in the catalog page below.

Please report them.

ETA - FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION - It's probably safe to say that any serial number with a *4N- prefix where the style number doesn't match the correct style of the bag is FAKE. But they should be posted here to verify. I've already checked current and Completed Ebay listings and have found several, so there's no need to post any of those. Just remember that prefix in the future.

Here's a good example, if anyone needs one. There have been several different "old" and "new" creed stamp versions used but here's one of the newer ones, M4N-4154 (which I think is already on the Fakes List), although it still says Leatherware. The bag also has a too-short dowel and "scrtches" in the creed. The crooks even went through the trouble of finding a blue-edged "industrial-style" zipper.

J4N-4082 is another "ALWAYS FAKE" example.

I just did. Just as I thought, thank you for confirming, Hyacinth. And I'm posting this info to the Hall of Shame.
