Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

No red flags so far but there are missing pictures.

Since mid-2014 when Coach stopped putting serial numbers on creeds, additional pictures that we need in order to authenticate. Please request pictures from the seller of the labels sewn inside the bag's lining seam. There is a made in label and a serial number label. One or both can be either in a seam in the open (main) part of the bag or sewn deep inside the zipper pocket, sometimes difficult to find.

OFTLOG (my new favorite acronym!) I am a regular reader and poster on this forum and I've been vexed by your not posting according to format! And then you were referred to the proper format and yet you still didn't comply. My belief is that this forum provides not only an answer to your specific question and bag, but also a reference for the public about the name, serial number, style and size of bags as well as sellers in general and when you bypass the listing format, you make your posts unsearchable and/or useless to those who come after you. I commonly search archives of this authentication thread for information and reference on similar bags in question.

And finally, there was nothing "implied"-- it is simply a statement with specific documentation-- a fake bag was listed on both ebay and Etsy. Full stop. No libel. That is why myself and others on here hold this service and it's authenticators in high esteem-- so that we can authenticate an item BEFORE listing it for sale.
