Please follow the following requests:

• Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

I know bags were handcrafted in Turkey
but this creed seems really different better safe than sorry

It's fine. I appreciate the picture with the pocket pulled out. You can see the size of it in relation to the bag. That is one of the things counterfeiters tend to get wrong.

Both are fine. For the side tabs, are you referring to the length and shape of the tabs? I've had several of these bags and the tabs vary a lot. They must not have had a pattern, or had several patterns. I've had at least one bag with short tabs like this.

Yes that's exactly what I meant. I have a similar bag in brown (thanks for authenticating that a while earlier) with a longer 'side tab', so when I noticed it's shorter on this one the difference rings a bell. I'm glad you said they could be different for different bags ~~

Here is a 1970s ad showing short tabs. I think they might have changed to a longer tab over time. Or it could be random. Out of 3 NYC bags I had with glued-in creeds, two had the short tabs. None of the later ad pictures I have a clear view of the tabs.

Does anyone know what this is? Lol it's a hangtag with a turnlock and a keyring inside. I've never seen this before! View attachment 3255920

It's called a Key Hood or Clochette, and seems too small to be of any practical use although it might be big enough for my safe deposit box key. But my house keys or car keys? Nope.

I wasn't sure whether she was reading here or communicating with someone but now I have my answer.

It's your choice whether you want to report her listings or not but knowing her history, I've reported both listings (even though ended). I'm hoping that if and when ebay removes her listings, she will either be prevented from listing Coach in the future or will be told she needs to authenticate her items before listing because clearly, she isn't expert! And ebay rules, in accordance with US trademark law require sellers to know items are authentic BEFORE listing them, something ltc_988 doesn't do.

I can't seem to find the green binocular bag. A Brighton Bag from the same seller was in the link. I did a search for the item number and only my original request for authentication and your reply were in the quote list. Am I doing something wrong in the hunt for this bag in the Forum?
