I am thinking of bidding on this bag. It looks genuine but I have been wrong a lot!

All the info is in the write up so again it seems legit!

Thanks in advance

Thanks! I guess I do have a lot to learn! I seem to be mixing up a lot. Just a quick question on the hang tag being yellow. On one of the how to' sit said that it is a sign of a fake is that not true in all cases? That is what made me think it was a fake. Thanks again!
You have to be wary of the many "authenticity guides" and "how to spot a fake" guides on the internet. Few are written by real experts, many are copy-and-pastes of others' guides, most are either obsolete, incomplete or just plain wrong.

With most Coach, there's no such thing as "always indicates fake" or "Coach never does X" because nearly every "rule" has exceptions.

With regard to hangtags, although there are many different styles, materials and construction, another problem with hangtags is that they can be removed, lost and/or replaced. Sometimes they're "replaced" by a hang tag the seller finds in the thrift or elsewhere and could be fake. Other hang tags are replaced by Coach with whatever type of hang tag they happen to have to send as a replacement.

About the only things (so far) that are always true about Coach is that no Coach bag has ever been made in Korea and no Coach solid signature bag will have signature lining. (This "rule" doesn't hold true for patchwork or mixed materials exteriors.)

You should NEVER use something that can be changed or replaced as easily as a hangtag to authenticate a bag.

I'm not sure if the hangtag is original but the bag is genuine. Please don't ever report a Coach because the hangtag doesn't seem right.

Another one that I am hoping to authenticate. It is my first attempt at buying vintage. It's a wallet though so there is no tag to show.

It is being sold by allthatglittersonline and they have 100% positive feedback.

Thanks in advance!

I think the wallet looks good.

note that 100% feedback doesn't necessarily mean that the seller is honest. Often, many buyers don't know they bought fakes and other times, when contacted by a buyer, sellers will immediately claim ignorance and issue a refund. As a result, buyers will leave positive feedback for the "honest" seller who sometimes turns around and immediately relists.
