Genuine.

Green coloring on brass isn't a patina, it's called verdigris and it's a destructive surface process that happens to brass, like rust happens to iron, and it needs to be treated or it will spread and also damage or discolor the leather if it hasn't already. HOWEVER, I'm not sure if this one really has it or if it's just a reflection of a green color in the background since the last photo doesn't show the same color. You might want to ask the seller about that.

If it is verdigris, it's not a red flag but it has to be removed carefully. The Rehab and Rescue thread has dozens if not hundreds of posts on the subject.

Thank you for the thorough reply!

Please authenticate. I bought this for $10 today, but I can return it if it is not legit. It needs a little bit of rehab. There are a couple things that make me suspicious. The shoulder strap is fraying threads on the edge and the inside clasp hardware has some wear spots. Are these Italian bags prone to this type of wear? Thanks.

That seller is either very confused or a bit incompetent.

The bag is NOT a style 9061 - not even close.

Seller says it's made in China but that's not what the creed says.

And yes, I know sellers often reuse all or parts of previous listing templates. But it's stupid to do that without checking if the facts about the new bag match the desciption in the original template. "Short cuts make long delays".

There aren't enough pictures to be sure what style it is. But if you get the same exact bag that's in the photos, it looks genuine. It could be a Pocket Purse from the early 1990s.

It's genuine. I have no idea about the wear.

Good evening, everyone. I've been a long time lurker, but this is my first time posting!

I was recently given this Coach wristlet as a present and would like to know if it is authentic. No idea on model name or year.

Measurements are 8in x 5 in x 2 in.

Thank you in advance!! :D

Added: Just noticed that the last picture is not very clear, so here is what it says: "This is a Coach bag. It was handcrafted in China of a resilient fabric of English wool trimmed with the finest leather. This fabric has been treated to be stain and water repellent. No. E0J - 7768"

It's authentic but it's not a wristlet (or rather not intended as a wristlet though the strap can be attached to be one). It's a demi from 2000.

Comment: The style number shown on the creed appears to be wrong for this bag.
There are lots of things wrong with it. Besides the very bad creed, a casino bag, which this is trying to be, doesn't have a pocket on a flap like that, the pocket goes all the way across with the ends attached to the side seams.
