I bought this from Salvation army a few weeks ag. Is this authentic? Thank you :smile1:

I don't mean to hog the forum. I jus figured out (again) how to post and don't want to sign of in case It takes me another week to figure it out :graucho:[/QUOTE

Clear pictures of the strap clip and the lining would help, thanks! There are a few details that worry me.

I don't think it's genuine but the pictures should tell me for sure. There are several things wrong with that patch, and the clip or at least what little I can see of it doesn't look right either.

I'm sure it's fake.

I think so too but it's a close copy. I'm always a bit surprised when the crooks go through all that trouble to copy a wristlet, especially one with so many oddball patches. But the leather patch on the front is definitely non-Coach.

Here's the real one:

1- Genuine. It's a Carrier Bag, not a Musette. I'm wondering about the condition of the leather especially on the front flap, and also what kind of product or process gave the bag that shine. Wait for other comments on condition.

2- There's no creed photo and we won't authenticate a bag without one especially not one as frequently faked as the Willis. Also, if it's genuine it's not vintage since it couldn't have been made earlier than around 1999 since it's Gray and has silver hardware. There's nothing that points to it being fake but without a creed and serial number photo that's all I can say.

That's interesting, I found 5 items which I searched for musette....all 5 looks the same. So I guess a lot of sellers just assumed name of bags [emoji57]

If grey color wasn't available in old vintage days, what about Forrest Green Willis? Was there such color available for Vintage?
