Hyacinth, whateve and BeenBurned, just off the top of your head, are you aware of any larger bags that have this style? The leather trim around the bottom with double zipper pulls? I would love to have this in a normal bag size :)

I vaguely seem to remember a larger bag, maybe an outlet style, from the last 3 or 4 years with one of those zipped compartments but that's all I can tell you.

Is this wallet authentic, it looks like a fake to me

Thanks very much

I completely agree with you. The logo, the nonsensical style number and the zipper pull are the most obvious things wrong with it.

Yep, and made in Korea judging from the zipper pull and the bogus "serial number".
The listing in question was removed but there's another identical one! do not buy from sellinggrandmasestate.

And this IS a different item! The description states, "I have two of these listed for sale. This one is slighter lighter brown than the other one."

1. needs creed photo in order to authenticate. Looks like a Manor bag.
2. looks good.
3. might be okay. I can't see the creed number in order to authenticate.
4. looks good. It's a Dinky bag #9375.
5. No creeds so can't authenticate. The light colored one is a Madison Spence bag. The black one could be a Legacy zip. These are highly faked.
Thank you whateve!

Thank you whateve!
Quick question, before the standardized creeds with the numbers and letters in 1994, were there any creeds where it was just 8 digits with no dashes in between? I've only seen the 4 digits dash 3 digits before.
You're welcome!
The first creed numbers were xxx-xxxx. They changed to xxxx-xxx for a short time in the 90s before they switched to style numbers in 1994. Occasionally you'll see an 8 digit creed with no dash. That happened sometimes when the stamp wasn't set properly. I answered this question yesterday in this thread.

Thanks again whateve. You are a wealth of information :)
