Also verdigris around the rivets, grommets and buckle, spreading onto the leather.

Coach rehab addicts might be tempted to have a go at it.

And of course I meant that it had significant damage.

For the OP the gouge will not come out. You can use a toothpick to lift off the verdigris. I also think I see where the hardware stained the top of the bag which is typical of this line.

Thanks Hyacinth. If the piping had been in better shape I may have bid more aggressively. I used a sniping service and decided not to go after it. I bet they must've been pretty expensive back in the day. The items described as cabin bags on the wayback site were around 600 USD back then so I can't even guess what a Gramercy would have gone for.

Neither can I, it doesn't seem to be in my catalogs.

I thought we found that one once? Maybe I'm misremembering. And when I say "we" I would guess you were involved. It might have been another large Gramercy bag, I just remember researching one that was bigger than my Satchel.

I shouldn't even be on here now, maybe I'll have some time to hunt it down tonight when I'm not supposed to be working. :p

Hi, everyone. I had my eye on this but the price went too high. The final sale plus Global shipping would have cost me 300 CDN but I'm still curious as to what it was. I tried to find out on the wayback machine under travel but couldn't find it. I got the seller to send me pics of the creed and the bottom and it had quite a bit of loss on the piping so I probably would have passed anyway. I'd still like to know what it was, though. Is it authentic and what is it called? Thanks, ladies.

I have a set of photos from a tPF post, but can't find any catalog photos.

Here are 2 tPF posts about the style:

Can somebody help me? Is this a real Coach handbag? There is no creed, no hangtag, no serial number, it's a crossbody bag made in Philippines. Thank you so much!

This is the correct thread.
Please wait for an expert (which I am not) to weigh in, but I've purchased nylon siggy Getaway travel pieces from a department store that were made in the Philippines, and sometimes (usually smaller) bags don't have creeds, so no need to panic yet. :smile1:
