The picture you've attached showing the weave of the lining looks good. On many fakes, it's very loosely woven. But tightly woven fabric doesn't make the pouch is authentic.

The back plate of the turnlock is wrong and may have been replaced or may not have been.

But neither of the above mean the pouch is authentic. The logo isn't even close to where it should be in a genuine turnlock case.

Another difference I noted is that the lining isn't sewn in correctly. Compare and note the stitching on the authentic one.

ETA: Although my purpose of posting the comp is to show the difference in how it's sewn in, the following comparison, you can actually see a difference in the lining too.

Hello again! I was wondering whether anyone could help me determine whether I’ve scored what seems to be a 1st gen Rogue for $100, or whether my impulse buying habit has landed me in trouble again.

Item: Coach Rogue (#38124)

Origin: Private seller

Size: Approx. 11.8” L x 5.3” W x 10.8 H (excluding strap drop)

Comments: This bag is very squishy and smooshy, even moreso than my 2nd gen Rogues including the 36. I’m not sure whether it’s because the leather is different in 1st gen Rogues or if it’s the age of the bag, but I had to slip an iPad and its keyboard in the outer pockets just to get it to stand up straight-ish. Hence, apologies for the terrible angles - I’d be happy to take more pictures if needed.
