The leather is beautiful, heavy, and has certainly feels high quality but the "creed" number is different from others I've seen (LC64124) and when I posted on the Coach reddit, they sent me here . I looked up the Reddit post and have a couple of comments. I don't use Reddit and I'm not sure how it works and often can't tell who has knowledge and even identifying posters who is the OP vs. those who answer:

1. Dazzling-Ad9436 (who seems to be the OP and the person asking the question here) responded with a couple of fallacies:
CHAT GPT is AI and like Entrupy which uses AI to authenticate (and has a crappy record of accuracy), they are wrong.

• “LC” codes often appear on Legacy Collection bags or special edition leather goods. These were often handcrafted and sold in limited runs.
Correct info: NEVER appear on Legacy Collection or special edition items.

• The creed text mentions it was handcrafted in the United States of completely natural glove-tanned cowhide, which is a hallmark of Coach’s high-end leather lines.
Correct info: Since the mid-90s, Coach has also been making bags in China and other countries. Although the text on the creed of the bag in question is on genuine bags, it is also on the vast majority of fakes.

• The style is consistent with Legacy or Classic Coach Leather Satchels or Totes from the early to mid-2000s.
Correct info: Although the style of the bag is similar to styles of bags made in 2003-2007, the creed is NOT consistent with the creeds on genuine bags from that era.
EDIT #2:

If you do a search on ebay for style 9550, you can see some examples of the actual style your bag is copying. 9550 is from 2004. Compare the differences.

Open a return for not as described, indicating counterfeit. The letter N is part of the problem. There are some exceptions in which there are valid mistakes when a N was used by a Coach factory in error, but this isn't one of them. The bigger problem is the R. That is supposed to represent the plant where the bag was made. The code R was not used to represent a plant in the US although the creed wording says the bag was made in the US. R was used for a plant in Thailand.

Hopefully the seller will do the right thing and accept the return, giving you a full refund and paying for return shipping. If she doesn't, you can escalate the case to ebay after enough time has passed. It should be decided in your favor.

I still recommend a claim. You WILL win and get a refund. Any amount is too much for a fake.

Please and thank you for taking a look. I think this is the larger (than a Musette), a Carrier Bag. Style 9800. I have a musette bag in hand so when I get this one, I can compare. Seller's measurements:
Full Length:16"
Height:10"
Width:4.5"
The musette I have has a slip pocket inside, this one has a zip pocket inside. Does that tell you anything useful? Looks to be amazingly great condition, but no strap. I can't tell from the photos and description if it has a back pocket or not.
