Item: '97 Buckle Bag?
Obtained: Purchased (not by me) on Vinted
Measurements: Strap: 30”, H: 9.25”, W: 9.5”, D: 4.75”
Comments: What's giving me pause is the serial # (7HZ-4157) being integer-letter-letter-stylecode instead of letter-integer-letter-stylecode. Also, the creed is very faded. Measurements are off but that might just be bc I don't know where/how to measure. If you authenticate it, could you say what tipped you off in either direction? Still learning here. Thank you in advance!

Let me know if more pics are needed.

It's authentic. Sometimes mistakes were made. In this case, it should have been H7Z rather than 7HZ.

Coach key case maybe 4807
Bought on ebay
I was so excited to find this color new, it’s a mahogany key case but it’s still wrapped in plastic which is now admittedly even more suspicious because I wouldn’t expect coach to wrap leather in plastic. It says made in Korea, there are gaps between the words leather and ware and then no gaps on the back. Have I been fooled or is this alright? I haven’t opened the plastic itself to look at the case because I’m concerned the seller won’t take it back if I open it
Please post the seller ID and the link to the listing as per the yellow highlighted post at the top of the page.
Never mind. I found it.

It's fake.

Open a return case for NAD (not as described). The seller will have 3 days to either accept the return and pay return shipping or to issue a refund without the return. (You'll get a prepaid shipping label if she opts for the former.)

If you don't get a reply, on day 4, go back to the case and ask ebay to step in. You'll end up getting your refund.

Thanks. After posting I found a few references on this forum to that mixup, especially in non-Anglophone countries in the 90s. Out of curiosity, how could you tell the bag was real? Was it the creed and the snap? A more general vibe? Thanks again!

Hello! I saw this bag at a consignment shop and decided to pass on it because it looked like a dog had chewed on the top edge of it. But I wanted to ask if it was authentic if I ever decided I wanted a serious rehab project lol.

Item: black leather bag, no lining, snap closure
Where found: local consignment shop
Comments: The odd white circle in the middle of the serial number was a physical stain (the purse was dirty to top it all off)
I didnt have a measuring tape on me but my phone estimated 13.5” across and 11” high.
