BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Both listings you've asked about are for authentic bags.

But the second seller, Authentic Designer Collections, has a history. I don't know whether the seller is knowingly selling fakes with inaccurate COAs or if she blindly trusts those companies, but there are fakes being sold for big bucks.

Oh boy! Thanks for the scoop, BeenBurned! I should have thought to search, I missed those posts in the Hall of Shame thread.

I ended up buying a different one because I realized I had two in my watchlist and this seller accepted my offer (with shipping was lower than the quoted seller's total). Posting it here for the once-over.

Item: 9565 Shopping Bag Large
Source: GW
Measurements: 12.5w x 14h x 3.5d, strap drop 9-9.5
Comments: Has a hangtag but can’t be original — looks vintage but not vintage enough, double-sided and not “Leatherware.” Everything else looks good. The zipper is interesting — the gauge is enormous and the fabric of the zipper tape takes me back to “the olden days.”
