It's authentic. For bags with all-number creeds we need measurements in order to identify. This looks like a 9170 classic pouch to me because of the unique strap. If the measurements are around 10 x 9 x 4, that is what it is. This is the original of the bag they are remaking as part of the anniversary collection. Colors are really hard to gauge, especially since what I see on my monitor may be close to what you see in real life. It looks like there is some unintentional two-tone. It could be tabac or putty.

Yes, the measurements correspond, so a 9170 classic pouch it is!

I had been looking on eBay for a vintage Coach bag to try my hand at a rehab. I was astonished to wander into a local thrift shop and see this hanging there today! I will head over to the rehab thread and post her there for tips and suggestions. Thank you!

Item: Authentic Coach Purse Handbag #M3U-6380 Chocolate Leather Trim
Listing Number: 291562909651

Comments: I'm 99% sure this is fake, just want to check here before posting it in the 'fakes' thread. Thank you!! :-)
I agree with you. All those run-on words! The word "detail" is missing a letter. 2003 is too early for this style. The weird texture on the snap isn't something on hardware Coach used, the lack of a leather zipper pull on the pocket, the wrong fabric for the lining, etc.

Thank you! I caught all you mentioned except about the year. I'm not quite that good yet. Thanks again! :-)

thank you so much for letting me know about the circle and for your extremely prompt response :) :cloud9:
You're welcome and welcome to the purse forum.

You're welcome! Congratulations on a great find! I'm never that lucky at my local thrift stores.

You're welcome. Anytime you see a word misspelled in a creed, you can be sure Coach didn't make it.

Can you check out the bags in this listing?
I am especially concerned with the style #9035.
Thank you!

The 9035 is definitely fake - invalid serial prefix AND that 9035 Ergo Shopper style wasn't even introduced until Spring 1998.

The others seem to be ok from the limited number of photos available. More opinions are welcome.
I agree about the 9035. The rest look okay based on the creeds alone with the exception of the Lula's Legacy - the picture is too fuzzy for me to tell.

Please authenticate this COACH baby bennett satchel for me. I have posted in Catchfake in Thai's website earlier, your confirmation will be appreciated.

Thank you :smile1:

I get a "File Not Found" page when I click on the link.

If you're Copying and Pasting the link, please be sure that you're copying it from the original page and not from an earlier copy of the link posted somewhere else on the internet. If it's been already posted on a site like this one where long URLs are automatically shortened to save space, the link may not be able to be completely copied. We have the same problem here at thePurseForum if someone tries to copy a link that has already been posted and shortened at least once.

EDITED TO ADD - Never mind, I see that you've already posted the same question at the ID thread. The link there is working.

Please do not post the same question in more than one thread at these forums unless one of the people trying to answer your question asks you to do it.
