Ahh! Yes, BB! My own bag is as you describe with another small tag tucked deep in the zippered pocket! Sorry for not having checked closer (& with my reading glasses)!

Both are fake. Most 9045s I found on ebay are fake! Even if the 3 letter prefix were an error, J would not be a valid plant code. The green one has a random Coach logo in the center of one side of the bag. We've never found any exceptions to the E plant rule.

The fabric "Bonnie Cashin" totes aren't really vintage, they're tribute bags made around 2008 using copies or variations of vintage Cashin designs, ads and graphics. Vintage handbags by common definition have to be 20 years old or older.

The Bonnie Cashin for Meyers bag isn't a Coach product, and the seller never uses the name "Coach" to describe it. Meyers had no connection to Coach. Bonnie Cashin did design work for both companies. She stopped designing for Coach in 1974.

Both bags look genuine but technically neither is a "vintage Coach" item.

Both of them look genuine, and both were made in the time period between 1990 and 1993.

Ouchhhh! Such a disappointment to learn about that. I will skip no:1 to buy real design by Bonnie Cashin herself and only buy no:2 (though still kinda disappointed it's not coach....however I like the kisslock!)
