Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

1 and 2 look ok. Number 3 seems to be genuine but isn't a Stewardess Bag, it's a Legacy Crescent from 2002.

Just want to add that chrystellesong2013 either has 2 listings for the same bag or she has 2 of bags with the same serial number and same pictures.

Thank you Hyacinth and BeenBurned! I just figured that she was trying to sell the bag simultaneously as an auction and BIN but didn't know how so she did two separate listings.

Please post a picture of both sides of the tag. (Yes, tags are faked and changes made by Coach make it more difficult to authenticate.)

Again, I don't see any obvious problems but before saying it's authentic, I want to be sure.

Hi. I am not an authenticator but wanted to mention that the new serial number tags are tiny & easily overlooked. Do you see a small tag with numbers on it sewn into a seam of the bag lining? This one may be in the main part of the bag.

Edit: It might even be visible in your second photo. :)

The Crescent Bag in the third listing also looks ok from what I can see. There's no way to prove it was made during Bonnie Cashin's time at Coach which ended in 1974, but it is one of her designs.

This is the only tag I found in the main compartment. Didn't see any others in any of the pockets either.
