It's authentic. I'm showing it new in the 1993 Spring catalog. That isn't the style number after the dash. It just randomly happens to look a lot like the style number (it's 418, not 413). It was probably made around 1993.

Last find here, Im having trouble with this one.

Item: Terrace (possibly) in Cocoa (possibly)
Where: Boutique - WA

This is what looks to be a ‘92 Terrace bag, in a color that looks like Cocoa/lighter brown. I can’t see anything wrong with the creed. The hangtag is for sure fake to me. What has me leaning towards this bag itself being fake is the fact that the fold-ins on the side that you would have with a Terrace bag aren’t there, the bag doesn’t fold naturally and when you try it sort of tears/cracks a little (pictured). There is a bar only under one flap of the bag as well, where as the other one has a bar under each flap.

I picked up both bags from a boutique, i just thought this one was squished.

It looks good. Interesting, mine has a different style number. I guess they changed it and this one was part of a more recent run.

Please explain what you mean about a bar under the flap. The creed looks good. I'm not entirely comfortable with the snap. Could the fold ins have problems only because the original owner never folded them in?

Hi Whateve! Thanks for the other authentications!

By ‘bar’ i meant that under the top flaps (ie the flaps that close off the top of the bag) there seem to be impressions of ‘bars’ under each flap on the mahogany terrace and then only under one of this terrace. I’m not sure if this is a difference between the ‘92 and ‘97 models (the two years i’m aware they ran this).

As for the fold ins, I’m not aware if you have to fold in the Terrace? But where it seems so natural on the mahogany one, this one resists it, when I try to fold it like the mahogany, it’ll sort of look like it’s about to tear where it’s supposed to fold. It’ll revert back to the state it looks like right now.

Is it possible that it’s been wet and just formed like that? Or is it an error in development?
