Hi! I appreciate all the folks helping with authentication on this thread, such a wealth of knowledge. I am hoping to sell this piece but I wanted to make sure it is authentic before putting it online. It is a MacDougal Zip in bottle green with tags, but the serial is making me nervous. I am trying to figure out if it might be 92-93, but the style is still stamped after the dash, only missing the 0. Any help would be appreciated.

It's authentic. I'm showing it new in the 1993 Spring catalog. That isn't the style number after the dash. It just randomly happens to look a lot like the style number (it's 418, not 413). It was probably made around 1993.

Hi Authenticators! I didn't get this case (6925 if authentic) authenticated before/when I bought it, but now that's it's on hand and I'm looking at it, I'm not sure it's authentic. Can someone take a look please? I know the hangtag is not original, but I'm questioning the zipper shade and particularly the interior fabric (plain black-no Coach logo). Thank you!

I edited my previous post because I went back and looked at my own pictures of the item and I'm seeing differences.

1. Logo on jugus46's looks larger than mine
2. Logo on jugus46's appears to have more borders than mine
3. Mirror on jugus46's appears to be slightly different
4. Lining isn't correct.

My opinion is that you got a fake. @whateve - What say you?

The seller wants it back which means the fake could probably stay in circulation . The return was authorized very quickly with a prepaid label. So back it goes!

I believe it's authentic but it's either been dyed and the lining was dyed too or there's some serious color transfer that should be disclosed.
