Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I posted this “thrift find” in the identify thread but there was no response so I thought perhaps I should have posted it here for authenticity.
There is no creed and no identifying numbers . Thanks for letting me know what you think .

You have since gotten your answer in the other thread. We wouldn't have IDed it if it wasn't authentic. I remember these from after I joined the forum so possibly around 2011.

Please review the yellow highlighted post at the top of each page of the thread with the information and pictures needed.

A bag cannot be authenticated with just 1 picture of a creed.

Hi to all!
I was today years old when I learned Coach is copied and faked, and it took me by surprise specifically with Couch Outlet. I am a bag newbie and not sure if the item is safe to buy. Your opinions are greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what you mean by "Coach is copied and faked, and it took me by surprise specifically with Couch Outlet." Note that the Coach outlet stores don't sell fakes although there may have been an occasional dishonest buyer who got away with returning a fake to an outlet store and was successful in fooling the SA.

Coach employees aren't trained to recognize fakes and if someone is a new employee, it's possible they could be fooled.

As for the authentication request, the listing from auntieaunnie isn't the link you posted.

Thank you for your reply and for the edits! To clarify, only official option to buy Coach for me (both outlet and “regular”) is via resellers similar to Revolve or Asos. These do not include the word “outlet” in any form, so when surfing online, I thought outlet = regular on sale.
