Hi there!

Would you please have a look at this Soho Zip Hobo (M6B-4161) for me? I received it in the mail today and opened it up; the leather is quite nice and details appear correct, but the cartouche and serial number stamps seem less crisp than I’m used to, and I didn’t see too, too many other verified authentic M6B bags to compare it with.

Source: eBay
Seller: page978
Measurements: 13.5"x10.5"x4.5"

Better photo of the creed below. If you want additional photos of the bag outside of the eBay listing ones let me know.

Fake.

UGH! Did you buy that bag? Please go to the order and open a claim for NAD! Seller will have to provide return shipping label (if she wants the fake back) PLUS issue a refund for your FULL payment once she gets it back.

Her other option is to fully refund without requiring a return, thereby saving on return shipping.

Dang. I had a feeling—thanks. I’ll do that. For my own edification—could you tell me what the red flags were? I appreciate it!

Hello ladies! I can't believe you authenticators have been here saving us bag lovers for what looks to be 20+ years now. I'm new to this forum as a member! But have been reading it on and off for a while now. I've been a fan of Hyacinth, BeenBurned, Whateve and many other authenticators on this Coach thread - I don't know how you guys have this specialised skill. I would pay if you guys ever offered a course on authentication. I'd love to be a Coach expert but alas, alot of the info you guys know are not even found anywhere else online  Anyway, so sorry for my long intro. I'm not supposed to talk so much since this is an authentication thread. Please could you kindly help me to authenticate these 2 bags:

1) Coach 4156, Listing No. 235496496603, Listed on eBay, seller is happymg

2) Coach 9025, Bought from Carousell, seller is coconutgirl (she did mention that she bought it off a reseller, and that she brought it to Coach to polish and they did it for free but I know that doesn't guarantee this is authentic)

I have more vintage Coach bags that I have recently inherited so will dig them out and get them authenticated one of these days. Thanks so much again, all the wonderful people here 🙌🏻
Both bags are authentic.

The quickest and easiest giveaway is the creed stamping and serial number font.

(For ebay disputes, you don't have to give reasons why an item is counterfeit.)

But as an example, compare the creed of the fake bag in question (on the left) to the authentic one (on the right):
