BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.

  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Or their sneaky way of knowingly listing what they thought was illegal worked to your benefit. (For a novice seller, it could well have been an innocent error. For a company like Goodwill with a long history of selling fakes, often knowingly, I don't think it was an "innocent error" but their way of unloading it.)
 
Good morning! Hope everyone is safe from the stormy weather and tornados hitting many areas.
I'm not able to find that I ever had this listing authenticated. Apologies if it's a duplicate request.
The buckled luggage tag on the left I think might be #7221 Identification Tag if authentic. Any info on the piece on the right - business card holder - style name/number, photo, etc? Many thanks!

It's fake.

Go to your order and in the dropdown box, check "return this item." Choose that the item isn't as described or pictured. In the comments section, state that it's counterfeit.

The seller will have 3 days to either accept the return and issue a return shipping label or to issue a full refund without requiring a return. If they don't respond or don't respond appropriately after the timeframe, go back to the order and ask ebay to step in. (You won't have the step-in option under after the full 72 hours have passed.)

Because you are in the UK and the seller is in the US, she may not be able to send a shipping label for the item to get from UK to US, in which case, she will have to send (by paypal) the payment for you to purchase a shipping label.

Once the tracking shows delivery to the seller, she'll have 2 days to issue a full refund or again, you can request ebay to resolve it.

IMO, the seller should just offer profuse apologies and issue a refund since she won't be able to (legally) resell it when she gets it back.

UPDATE: I followed your advice about the return process and since the seller offers ‘free returns’ I was able to print the label
Interesting because I'm looking at the listing and seeing a no return policy. But for a NAD (not as described) claim the seller has to do a free return.

Was she able to send a return label from the UK?
