I'm concerned for the same reason. I have 4 of Coach's photos saved of style 13826 saved in different colors, and all of the style names are saved as "OP ART Glam" which seems pretty definite that it has to be Op Art fabric and not classic Signature C.

There's just no way they would have manufactured and SOLD a bag with the wrong fabric.

In that picture, far right, am I crazy or is that the bag?

Edit: Posted this right before I saw your correction. So the bag appears legitimate then? That would be a huge load off of my shoulders. I consider myself an honest person and would hate to feel I cheated someone by selling a fake, even if I did not know at the time.

All I can say is that there doesn't seem to be anything that would make me think it's fake once the problem with the different patterns seems to have been cleared up.

Like we always say, "The most consistent thing about Coach is their inconsistency."

The wallet feels substantial, not flimsy or badly made. The leather on the outside has more of a sheen and feels a little different than my others I don't know how to explain it. It could just be from it not being used and my others have been used often, and I have sprayed all mine with apple guarde . I'm leaning to it being good and if it is a fake its a damn good one. But the bag I'm thinking is definitely fake and maybe they really didn't come together like she is saying. I don't know. I will take it all to the coach store here and see if they could confirm.

Oh and here is a close up of the bag. It is a spongy type of paper feel. scratchy like. Reminds me of hospital mask or shoe coverings.

I've seen that kind of bag on many fakes, never on a real Coach. I doubt the Coach store would be able to help you. They wouldn't know about anything made for a different market. My dustbags don't have a "made in" label. Probably because they aren't ever supposed to be sold separately from the bag so it isn't required. The Coach "made in" labels that are on the inside of wristlets and bags don't look like that.

I have visited the main Coach shop in Singapore and also its so-called factory outlet. The prices are outrageoously high, retail at DOUBLE US retail and factory still above US retail. I have not bought any of the small leathers but very much doubt that the dustbag would be of the paper variety, it simply does not go with the premium image they are trying to position the brand at in Asia. It also does not make economic sense for anyone to buy genuine Coach in Asia and sell it in the US.
That said, I was late to the Borough party and did succumb to buying a Marobox Borough in Singapore Coach at only a teeny tiny discount, but by that time it was sold out in the US and not appearing on eBay. Also, Singapore is a tightly-controlled country with few fakes available in the market. If the wallet does come with a high receipt from the Coach Singapore store, it would probably be OK!
The dust bag is fake -- no question.

Hi, I recently sold a Coach bag on Ebay, and the buyer is now claiming that it is a fake and wants to return it. My wife and I really believe it to be authentic, but if it is not, we definitely want to have the buyer return the purse and return their money. The attached pictures are the only ones I still have; hopefully they are enough to determine authenticity? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I have concerns about it. Am I reading the number correctly? Is it G0967-13826?

CORRECTION - MAYBE NOT. Here's another screencap. Maybe it IS genuine. All the other colors are Op Art Cs except for the B4/golg/gold color which is classic Signature metallic fabric.

Fascinating.

In that picture, far right, am I crazy or is that the bag?

I apologize because I'm late to the discussion but I came to post that I'm not so sure it's fake. I was going to go against the others, but I see that Hyacinth also found bags with the non-op art pattern.

I do believe that the bag is authentic however I want to comment on your first comment where you said, "My wife and I really believe it to be authentic."

If you didn't purchase directly from Coach and aren't skilled enough to authenticate your items, you really need to post pictures and get verification that the bag is genuine.

Please refer the buyer here. (Is it only the pattern that made her question it?)

Here's another screenshot showing the various colors, with the gold one having the original signature pattern.
