I apologize because I'm late to the discussion but I came to post that I'm not so sure it's fake. I was going to go against the others, but I see that Hyacinth also found bags with the non-op art pattern.

I do believe that the bag is authentic however I want to comment on your first comment where you said, "My wife and I really believe it to be authentic."

If you didn't purchase directly from Coach and aren't skilled enough to authenticate your items, you really need to post pictures and get verification that the bag is genuine.

Please refer the buyer here. (Is it only the pattern that made her question it?)

Here's another screenshot showing the various colors, with the gold one having the original signature pattern.

Thanks for the authentication input. And I agree, we should have thought to authenticate it prior to posting it for sale. To be honest, and it is foolish on my part, it never occurred to me that the bag might be fake simply because it seemed so genuine based on the quality. The bag just seemed far to perfect to be fake. My lesson is learned, however.

So far the buyer has not responded to my question about what has led them to believe the bag to be fake. When they do, I will definitely refer them to this thread as well as the archive.org address for the saved Coach website. I would like to thank everyone here for their time and help. Y'all are pretty fantastic

Appears authentic. The seller doesn't provide measurements. The seller says it is light brown when it looks like wine.

Hello dear authenticators,

I woke in the middle of the night last night, racked with the feeling that the bags I purchased recently are not genuine. I've already removed the hardware, dunked them and given them a dose of Leather Therapy. If they are fakes, they are good quality ones, but I would love to have my mind put at ease and know one way or the other.

Here are the ebay listings. I can try to provide extra photos if you need them.

Sample?
Love this bag, the seller says is was a sample, want to purchase but have never seen a 99999 style number. (The bags like this I have seen have 28007 and a different year)

colleenk415 was discussed fairly recently and personally, I'd stay far away from her and other Manhattan-area sellers of purported "sample" bags.

Hi!
I am having a discussion with a potential buyer about Coach, she thinks if the bag says "made in China" it is not authentic. Anyway, I am sending her here so she can learn a bit, but would appreciate if someone could post a pic or two of the newer creeds that DON'T have serial numbers AND the little clear tags that show "MADE IN..." AND any of the new little sewn in tags that show the serial numbers. Thanks mucho~!

I don't have any of these in stock at the moment so I have no pics myself. Thank yoU!

Welcome to the forum! You are in good hands here, the expert ladies are very nice and of course knowledgeable, they helped me out in many occasions.

I have a bag like this in camel color, although mine is smaller and I remember the chat at the time I got it, because nobody knew that the key hood was, and how to attach it. It was given a very fancy word, that now I can not recall. It's been a while since I had the chance to participate.

Thank you, so we are family, LOL

Thank you whateve. Hope it's a wine colored bag like the photo. Will ask the seller.
I think she might be colorblind!
Please authenticate. The turnlock facing doesn't look right. I'm hoping it's authentic......

Authentic. The Sheridan turnlocks were different from the classic styles. Everything is different on a Sheridan.
