• For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
• For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
• If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

Hi All! Looking to authenticate this bag I picked up at a vintage/2nd hand event/expo (not sure what to call it haha). It is in need of some cleaning and sprucing!
Item: 9761 Suede Demi Shoulder Bag (?) Blue/Green
Where Purchased: 2nd hand
Comments: I'm not sure of the name or if this is even a legit color way; I can only seem to find pictures of this model in pink!
Length measures to around 8", Height measures to around 4.5-5", Strap measures to 12". See photos for measurements.

I am adding some more pictures here. I really just want to give you all the best information needed to authenticate this!

It's authentic, made in 2004 and is called Hamptons Suede Buckle Demi.

Hi! I just sold this on poshmark and the buyer opened a case saying it’s fake lol. I told her of course it wasn’t but told her I would post it here for authentication. It was a super cheap sale too like 🤦🏻‍♀️ thank you so much!

Did the buyer say why she thinks it's fake? Is it because there's no creed and/or serial number?

Yes that’s exactly why! She’s a very sweet buyer as well, just wasn’t aware that wristlets didn’t all have serial numbers. I told her about this board and also explained to her. Authenticity questions are never wrecking for me. I know a lot of people that get their closets suspended over stuff like this. Thank you so much

That's so ironic because I speak negatively of Poshmark every chance I get and I don't authenticate nor recommend listings on that site because of the lack of response to reports, whether through the report button or when contacting sellers to let them know items are fake.

And to add insult to injury, I was kicked off Poshmark several years ago after being "paged" to authenticate an item and explain why it was fake. The seller who knew she was selling fakes remained and the messenger was booted.

Go figure.
