Please post authenticity questions related to COACH in this thread. No PMs please.

Please follow the following requests:
  • Before you submit a request for authentication, please search this thread to make sure that the item has not previously been authenticated by searching the seller ID and/or item number. This is not a thread to ask general questions about COACH, please refer to our main Coach forum for such information.
  • Note that authenticators have the right to refuse any requests. This is a free service, but it is imperative that you help our authenticators by using the following format:

BASIC PICTURES REQUIRED (but more may be requested): If necessary pictures are in the listing, it's not necessary to upload and duplicate them.
  • Front of item
  • Back of item
  • Full clear and legible creed text and serial number
  • Made in tags (when available)
  • Measurements
  • For bags with turnlock closures, show pictures of back of female side of turnlock
  • For bags with magnetic snaps, show pictures of the male part of the snap so that the numbers and letters on it can be read
  • If applicable, search interior of bag and/or pockets for small white tag with production information and include a picture of that.

I gave the one I had to my niece. No creed or tassel, but the style is exactly the same. Lovely little bag... and it WAS little.... even for me. lol

No, they're not the same style. They were made at least 15 years apart and although they're very similar they have different names, style numbers, and different details on the front flap

The red one you're asking about was made in 2002 and is just called a Saddle Bag. It's not a Berkeley style, and it's not "vintage". It seems genuine but I wish the creed stamp was clearer, I can't be completely sure without a better creed and serial number photo.

Hi! I happened across this 22" x 22" cotton (?) scarf at a thrift store and was hoping someone could kindly take a look at it for me. There is no tag or other Coach markings. Any additional info is also much appreciated. Thank you!

It looks good although I can't find a style number for it.

A lot of people remove the labels from scarves, either because they irritate their necks or because they just don't like the look of the label hanging so sometimes, it can make authentication a bit more difficult. But I don't see any problems with your scarf.

I hate those labels but I can't bring myself to remove them, just in case. I always have to make sure they are folded inside so no one sees them. Sometimes they fall off because they aren't attached very well.
