Item: Women's Coach Tan Leather Purse, Pre-Owned in Good Condition
Listing #:
Seller & Site: kkubbie - Poshmark

Comments: I know, I know, I call it my maybe Tabac, maybe Putty pig in a poke satchel otherwise known as a 9725 Madison Satchel from approx 1988-1993. I have provided the photographs that you request since the seller did not provide them in her listing. I will say this seller really knows how to pack an item - tons of tissue, bubble wrap and air pillows in a full size cardboard box, but just does not take many photographs.

It's authentic but it isn't a Madison. It's 9880 classic satchel. See this picture that compares the styles.

Good evening Authenticators! Could someone take a look at this key fob? If authentic, my research shows it could be style #7298 Story Key Fob. I've attached a found link for another #7298 key fob for reference. A found reference photo is also attached.
Thanks so checking this!

You know there is no way to prove it is a Coach. It could have been made by a Coach craftsman offhours or just a fan. The type of leather looks just like the Coach version and I would think that would be hard to copy. The color looks off. It looks like the suede is russet and the pebbled is mahogany. Maybe that is why it didn't get a creed.
Thank you for your thoughts whateve! It is such an interesting bag to me and I am glad to have found it.

Thanks much! I'm looking forward to seeing it as listing photos weren't very clear.
I agree that the listing photos are awful!

I'm bothered because the fob does say that it's "solid brass and cowhide leather" but the hardware looks silver.

I have a picture in my files that shows a silver one with brass wording.

@Jacynthe

Remember, there is no law, at least in the US, forbidding a manufacturer from copying another manufacturer's designs. The only thing that's illegal to copy is another manufacturer's legally registered trademarks or graphics. Copying is done all the time in the fashion industry, sometimes pretty blatantly. Coach copying Dooney and Bourke design details for the Dakotas and Sheridans is a prime example.

I think the bag you're asking about is most likely not a Coach, but it's a good-looking riff on a Coach style and looks like it's good quality. Enjoy it!
