Bleeker in putty. Those look like normal striations in the leather. I don't think it's been dyed or painted.

Putty wasn't a Bleeker color.

It's authentic. It was part of the Dakota line made in the early 90s.

Sorry, I don't recommend seller " lorac2015 " on Poshmark or anywhere else, and will not authenticate any of her listings.

A Search of the forums will give more than enough reasons for my decision. That's why we tell posters to do a few simple searches here before buying. There are two pages of posts about that seller including the infamous Hangtag Hostage Incident.

It looks genuine and from late 1989 or the early 1990s, but it's hard to narrow it down without measurements. If it's about 7 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches it's probably a Compact Pouch, style 9620. Here's a 1989 catalog page:

Thank you! I appreciate you looking into the bag and passing along that info! The listing says the bag is 9x8 and I commented to ask about the depth as well, but judging from the pic it looks like it is the compact pouch!
