Hi Authenticators! Can someone take a look at this Sonoma 4929 and weigh in on its authenticity? As pointed out here several times, color is subject to many factors. But wasn't the color "Tomato" a brighter red instead of "dark red" as the title states (which is opinion, of course)?

As far as I can determine from both catalogs and memory, the Sonoma line only had one shade of red throughout its history, and that was Tomato.

Don't expect colors in photos to be like the human eye sees them, or sellers to know color names. Hell, some of them don't know style names, what line its from, or approximately how old the blasted bag is.

That's why I don't spend time trying to figure out "What color is this?" from a seller's photos. (My Jurassic-Age computer also can't open any listing photos except the main Gallery photo on ANY listing site these days. That's why I keep asking posters to include the creed and serial number photo in their requests.)

I bought a Rambler Legacy for my mom, and would like to have it authenticated. The dimensions are roughly 9x7". I bought one for myself recently, and the dimensions are the same. The only difference would be the width of the strap. The leather also feels a little different, but I think that might be because the leather condition is also a little different. My other Rambler has a bullseye mark on it, but the leather feels slightly thicker and smoother than this one. Overall, though, it looks nearly identical to the other one. My one question is that along the edges of the front pocket, there's a little slit and it looks like there's a thin fabric laid over the leather. I was wondering if that was normal. Anyways, thank you for your help!

Strap aprox 51 1/2” long.

I have several Coach Helen bags but none of them have “LEATHERWEAR” under the COACH heading.
Because of this difference I’m skeptical of the bag. However the hardwear all seems right…

I’d truly appreciate any help.

Bags made in different factories and at different times may have slight differences. The hangtag didn't come with that bag. I'm not seeing any fabric overlay. It is normal for the edging to be pieced and to have the pieces overlap where they meet.
