Thank you. Amazed that I was actually able to find something nice at Goodwill as it hasn't been very good as of late. I can really use this bag. Thanks again.
I believe a lot of the Goodwill have been told to pull all Vintage Coach to go to e-commerce.
Estate sales are where to find them now.
Someone found 5 Bonnie Cashin at one estate sale.

Wow that's brilliant. Good on 'em.

Agreed. For the last couple of years, I pass up GW. It's just gotten too expensive and it's all junk. I totally went in on a fluke the other day and found the Swagger. It used to be such a fun place to go to because it didn't break the bank. A reward for going to a doctors or dentist's appointment. But high prices for pilled, out of shape fast fashion? It's become a joke.

The Swagger will be so great because I really like a full zip for security. I think tabac trim is just so sharp. I really appreciate you guys authenticating this.

Thanks everybody.

I want to thank all our amazing Authenticators on this thread , who have helped many of us avoid the dreaded Fakes that are so prevalent in today's market.

I hope they continue to provide an amazing service.

I , for one , am thankful to them as buying a bag and having it shipped to New Zealand and finding out its counterfeit, would be sucky and expensive, to say the least.

Virtual thank you from the otherside of the world.View attachment 5927500

Mmmmm, chocolate!

Thanks for the Thanks! :flowers:

I have the bag (Abbie?) on hand now and have attached a photo of the creed and other photos of my own. If authentic, do you have a photo to share? Is the year 1990 or 2000? The hangtag seems to be stamped a bit lopsided, particularly on the one side. Is it authentic? If additional photos are needed, please let me know. Thanks for your help!

It's authentic.

Hi Authenticators - This is a 9085 from Costa Rica - FB listing.
I don't have any other photos but the creed is clear. Font looks a little wonky.
Thank you!!!

Also does anybody know what this color is.

Not an authenticator, but looking at the catalog pic the color choices are black, mocha, tabac, British tan, burgundy, navy, or putty. I'm going to vote for "putty."
You should only consider color charts for the year indicated in the creed. The color chart you posted is for NYC bags. This bag was made in 1999. I don't have any 1999 color charts. The only browns I'm seeing for around that time were camel, British tan and mahogany. That doesn't mean they didn't make other colors that we just don't have a catalog for.

Hi authenticators, could you please take a look at this bag for me?

I think it’s a baxter bag but I do not know from which year it would be or if it’s authentic.

Seller: loredana
Listing: online on website vestiare

Hi  , could you authenticate this bag for me?
If authentic: Is this a Baxter bag? What year do you think it was made?

item: i suspect it to be a coach Baxter bag
listing number: none
site: Belgian thriftsite

In the future, if you need to amend the information in your request, please quote your first request so we realize they are both for the same item. When the thread is busy with requests, it is really hard to keep track of which requests have been addressed.

I appreciate you realizing that you needed to post the link. The bag is authentic and it is a Baxter made 1989-1993.
