If you take some time to look through our Vintage Catalog thread in the Coach Reference Library beginning in about 1987 and going through 1993, you'll find a section on the Lightweights in almost every catalog.

The style numbers usually but not always begin with 40** or 41**. Coach started renaming the style line "Soho" starting around 1993.
@Hyacinth - that’s very helpful and a resource I’ll definitely utilize - thank you so much!

Can anyone tell me about this purse? A family member passed away and I ended up with it. I'd love to know if it's real or not.

Gorgeous! Bleecker Floral Tooled Vachetta Duffle, style 11786 made in 2007.

You might want to Search the Coach forums here for more information about Coach's "vachetta leather" items, The Rehab and Rescue and Vintage threads (even though this particular bag is about 4 years away from actually being considered "vintage") here and in the main Coach forum should have more information. It's a bit different from standard Coach leathers. I still own the wallet that matches that bag.

There are a few posts here that mention the style :

and here's Coach's webpage photo from 2007:

The style number has been used in some fakes but yours is genuine.
As @Hyacinth pointed out, there have been fairly close fakes of the style number. While some of the fakes appear to be the same style (that match the style number), others appear EXTREMELY close in details and quality but aren't even the right style of bag.

The following side by side pictures show some of the differences as compared to a Poshmark listing of a fake that was sold.

Interesting creed frame...please authenticate and thank you for your time.

More creed weirdness with a now you see it, now you don't serial. Hmmmm. Please and thank you!

IMO, neither listing can be authenticated as shown in the listings since neither shows a full legible creed AND serial number in one picture. We can't be sure the creeds are on the bag that's listed.

For the second listing, the creed appears to be a different color than the bag in the preceding pictures.

Between shopgoodwill's inaccurate COAs with "authentications" of fakes and their lousy pictures, buyers need to be darned careful buying from them!

You're right and I know better! I'm sorry to have taken up your time with this one. Couldn't agree more with above quote. I always have a good giggle at their zoomed YKK pics; they should read the SA Guides.

Many thanks! Appreciate your time!

Good afternoon dear authenticators! A request to authenticate please. Thank you!

Item: Court
Where purchased or how obtained: thrift store
Comments: dimensions are 7 inches height, 9 1/2 " width measured at bottom, 8 1/2" on top, almost 4" depth at bottom, about 3" at top. I purchased this court before becoming a member of tpf so I do not believe I had this authenticated. I noticed that this court (especially the inside) appears a very dark green next to my black courts. Was there such a colour for a made in Hungary court? Thank you very much in advance for your time and help.

It's authentic. It looks green to me in the pictures. Bottle green was an available color but it should be obviously green.

Hello! Can you please authenticate this when you get an opportunity? I just purchased so can cancel & report if it’s not authentic. I’m afraid I don’t have measurements since she didn’t post them, but I can ask for them if you’re not able to authenticate without them. Thank you!
