Vintage Coach Willis Top Handle Leather Purse Bag in Navy Blue *Flawed*

Site: Poshmark
Item ID: I can't find one on poshmark
Seller: nci_resale
Link: https://poshmark.com/listing/Vintag...-in-Navy-Blue-Flawed-64ed5980325187dd723cb160
Creed Number: 012-3445

Hello! I found this in the "new" section on Poshmark and ended up I purchasing it with plans on refurbishing it and selling it. I wanted to buy it fast due to the price and didn't really study the bag lol. I received it yesterday and just wanted to make sure it's legit. I have two more days to make a return on it so I can always return it if it's not legit.

Let me know if you need me to take any photos or need anymore information:smile:

please wait for the authenticators, but I can tell you I had a same serial bag and it was fake 012-3445. 012345. Sort of lacking in imagination. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/salearea-guides.983575/post-33239562

FAKE.

That number 012-3445 has been on the Daria48 Fake Coach Numbers List as "Always Fake" for at least 15 years. The List is included in the Salearea Guides thread HERE:

The actual List is here:
and
and

Please read the entire thread, some of the older links no longer work, but the list is accurate. I don't even need to look at the rest of the listing since the serial format is incorrect for ANY vintage Willis Bag. GET YOUR MONEY BACK.

And because of Poshmark's "don't care" attitude towards fakes, ALWAYS have Poshmark items authenticated BEFORE committing to buy.
To add a bit more information about Poshmark seller nci_resale, not only did she sell you a fake but she knows it's fake because the same bag was removed from ebay on August 31 when listed by the ebay seller nci_resale - same ID on ebay.

When a listing is removed and a seller is informed that it's fake, an honorable seller would end that listing on other sites since she (presumably) wouldn't want to rip off a buyer. JMHO.

Morning Ladies

This little cutie has just arrived, loving the stud detailing!

Please can you review and if authentic, advise on a style please?

Sorry you were missed.

The bag looks fine.

ETA: It appears to be called Mini Studs Duffle based on 2 other titles I found. I don't know if that's the official name.

I feel SO!! stupid for not noticing it was 01234..45. wow fml. I'm going to use one of the links you gave me as proof it's fake as well as saying that this forum deemed it inauthentic due to the clout this forum has. If that doesn't work the 01234..45 should . I've said before when opening a case on a fake bag that if you just Google the creed number all the top things that come up say it's fake and I've had my return accepted surprisingly. Fingers crossed!
Thank you @ConnieinSeattle and @Hyacinth!!

I had a question about something you mentioned @Hyacinth that the format is incorrect for any vintage Willis bag? I know the style number for it is 9927 and that after '94 that's what shows up on the creed, but I thought that before, because of the unique serial number that it is random, that it could be any numbers. Unless Willis bags aren't older than when they stopped using serial numbers?

!!!! I love you!! I'm going to use this as my main argument it's fake.
Thank you and very nice detective work :).

I didn't know that on eBay you could see removed listings!

Poshmark
Seller: carmitam
Link for stewardess bag:https://posh.mk/70GpRhh4OCb
Link for Willis: https://posh.mk/O8jRuoj4OCb

If the links don’t work I’ll post pics. Thanks!
I don't recommend or authenticate Poshmark listings because of the awful history of the site and sellers.

Beware that carmitam appears to be a "mixer," a seller who mixes fakes and authentic items.

This is a fake she sold:

ETA: If @whateve and/or @Hyacinth choose to authenticate the seller's listings, you'll need to post pictures (at least for H).

Darn ok. Well I purchased the stewardess already so I’ll send pics maybe when it arrives? Or I should cancel the order, I’m not sure?
