Hello!

I found this coach bag at a garage sale today and I have ZERO knowledge on coach anything. It does not have a serial # so I'm not sure if it's vintage / or even real? I was guided to this blog for some help. Appreciate it!

Welcome!

There should be a small white tag buried at the bottom of the interior zipped pocket. You will have to feel around (probably lower left seam) and may have to turn the pocket inside out to photograph it.

As for value, what a bag is worth has so many variables. Among them are condition, popularity of the style, color and how rare or plentiful the bag is.

Once you can confirm authenticity (with the additional picture necessary), you can search various sites for the style number as well as do image searches to see what others are going for.

But to correct your comment on whether it's "worth anything being vintage," the bag is definitely not vintage. In handbags/accessories, "vintage" is considered to be at least 20 years old.

Thank you so much! Yes tomorrow I'll try's and search around for the white tag you referring to. If it's from 1989-1990 wouldn't that make it 32/33 years old making it vintage ?

A bag from 1989-90 would be vintage but the signature bag you showed in post 83,090 wouldn't have been made 33 years ago.

Coach didn't even make signature patterned bags until 2000.

Your bag (IF AUTHENTIC and we don't know that yet) would have been made within the last 9 years, possibly not even as old as 9.

Oh okay. Then the person who said it was vintage before you replied was incorrect. I found the buried tag.

It's an authentic Signature Colette carryall and was made in 2015.

If you want to get a ballpark idea of what the bag would sell for, you can search "Coach 36376" and "Coach Colette" to find those that the sellers list with those keywords.

Keep in mind that the best gauge of price would be listings that have been sold and paid for. Sellers can ask any price for their items but whether buyers will pay that price is another story.

Please authenticate.

No need as bag has sold.
I don't authenticate Poshmark but I look at sellers' other listings. (This seller is a perfect example of why I advise against Poshmark and their sellers.)

And after looking at thecatsmeow93's listings, I recommend caution! Sellers who mix fakes and authentic items are IMO more dangerous than sellers who sell all fakes. Buyers tend to give those sellers an undeserved amount of trust.

The following are just a few of the fakes I found listed and sold by thecatsmeow93. It's likely there are more fakes but I didn't go through all. :(

Please wait for more opinions, but that Coach stamp on the front of the bag just doesn't look right to me.

Ok thanks for the information
I'm not comfortable with it either. There are a few things that the counterfeiters struggle with and those things often trip them up.

The logo is larger than it should be and although the lining seems "better" than some I've seen on more obvious fakes, the lining looks off to me too. The corners on the genuine one are also different.)

Compare the logo in the following side-by-side image. (I've rotated your picture to make the comparison easier.):
